RDS Europe 2022: the finale!

On September 17-18, the final stage of the Russian drift series. Europe. In Ryazan, 52 pilots from 22 cities of Russia and Kazakhstan gathered at the Atron race track.

The Ryazan stage became one of the brightest: most of the participants were serious about the final race of the season. Spectators were able to enjoy risky, striking, unforgettable races, grom the very beginning of qualification races.

Qualifying, single races took place on Saturday. Selection of the best in the Top 32, as always, was not easy, many teams strengthened their composition at the final stage.
Sergei Stilov, representing Yuka ADV Pro Racing Team, successfully coped with the judging task and entered Top 32. He scored 88 points and took 15th place.

On Sunday, a parade of pilots, an autograph session and a pair of Top 32 racers competitions were traditionally held. The weather added complexity and spectacle to the races: it rained all day, and the participants had to show all their skills on a wet track.

In his first race, Sergey Stilov met Sergey Kuznetsov and entered the Top 16 stage. His new opponent was Arkady Tsaregradtsev, the strongest pilot from RDS GP.

In the first race, Sergey drove as a chaser and did not miss his rival by far, but in the second race, something went wrong, and at one of the transitions, Sergey’s car led and spun, which immediately gave Arkady an advantage.

According to the results of all 6 stages, Sergey Stilov scored 355 points and took 14th place out of more than 90 participants.

We remind you that the RDS EUROPE 2022 season started in May in Ryazan, then four more races were held in Moscow, Kazan and Nizhny Novgorod. On the sixth, final stage, the participants returned to Ryazan, on one of the most spectacular and favorite drift tracks in Russia.
